Weekly training program for drivers and helpers designed
to keep our frontline service providers sharp. Includes
both hands-on and computer training. We deliver what we
sell and sell what we deliver.
- On-site training facility: A portion
of our warehouse is dedicated to hands-on training. We
have a mock kitchen to teach proper packing techniques, a set of
cubicles to teach modular furniture and panel installation, and
a forklift-training course.

- Latest techniques: Who says you can’t teach
an old dog new tricks? Although we have well over 100 years of
relocation experience, Tri-Valley stays ahead of the competition
by employing and developing the latest techniques for safe
handling and transit. Foam-lined machine carts for office
moves, art carts, floor and wall protection, and no tape cartons
are just a few of the innovative techniques that we use.

History
Tri-Valley Bekins opened for business in May of 1985 with a
business plan dedicated to becoming a full-service relocation,
transportation and storage company providing excellent service to
our customers located throughout the world. Prior to
Tri-Valley Bekins’ formation, the four founders worked together in
all aspects of the transportation and storage industry while
employed by a large San Francisco Bay Area van line agency.
The individual owners’ length of service at that company ranged from
seven to sixteen years.
In 1987, Tri Valley Bekins designed and constructed our existing
fifty-five- thousand-square-foot-headquarters in Livermore, which is located in the San
Francisco East Bay Area. Our other facilities include a
sixty-thousand-square-foot facility also in Livermore, and a thirty-four-thousand-square-foot-facility
in Martinez and a new
thirty-thousand-square-foot-facility in
Richmond. All four of these facilities
are full service warehouses serving office and industrial
relocations, household goods, and tradeshow/exhibit and display
transportation and set-up.
In early 2002, the original ownership group retired, selling their
combined stock to a new family that owns a network of moving and
storage companies throughout the
United States. Lead by Mr.
David Caruso, the Bekins A-1 network now has full
service facilities strategically located throughout the
United States. The
same management team that has controlled operations since it’s
founding in 1985 still manages Tri-Valley Bekins locally.

awarded Tri-Valley "Most Favored Vendor" status for each year of
service. Sun Microsystems actually placed an ad in The Wall Street
Journal announcing Tri-Valley Bekins as a recipient of their "Most
Favored Vendor" award. As a result of our commitment to
service excellence, we have been recognized by Consumer ValueStar,
the Better Business Bureau (honor roll), Bekins Van Lines, Clark &
Reid Executive Moving Service, Livermore Chamber of Commerce, Acuson
and Gateways International with various performance awards.
